Love & Faith
Here is a picture of my sister's mantle. I love how it's decorated so I had to take a picture of it before we left today. On her mantle she has a picture of her and her husband holding hands the day of their wedding. I just adore that picture! She also has something new added to her mantle, that she received from a friend at TIRR.
It's says Faith at the top can you see it? It has Hebrews 11:1
Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.

Happy Birthday Tita!
We traveled to my sister's house to celebrate Tita's Birthday. We celebrated Tita's 55th Birthday with Strawberry Short Cake and it was yummy!
Early that morning we went to garage sales and I bought shape manipulatives for the kids to play with while at my sister's house. Can you see what they were building?

Car Pool
On the way to school. This picture is really out of focus, sorry.  I only took two pictures of the girls, because they were ready to go to school.
This was the first time I took three girls to school. I usually pick up two girls after school, mine and my neighbor's girl. And this day we added one more girl to the car pool, to help a friend out. All three girls were really giddy!
When I dropped them off I really wanted to bust out my camera again to take more pictures of them walking into the school together. It was just sooooo cute. But I didn't, it's just going to be one of my special memories, I will have to hang on to!

March 25- 35/365

Easter Program
Megan attends a private school and they had a great Easter program on Thursday. Here is a picture of her when her class did the bells. After the bells they sang My Redeemer Lives and then they did an "add on" ( I am not sure what it is called but it's where each person adds to the story, and repeats the part that was said before them) Megan said it's called He is Not Here, He is Risen.  It was very good!
Just to brag a little, Megan has 21 children in her class and she was the second to last one to add to the story. She had to repeat from all of the kids in front of her. (Okay... so she isn't a genius, the class was paired up in groups of twos.) But I think for a 5 year old to remember eleven other parts to a story plus their own is tough! WAY TO GO MEGAN!!!! Yes, I am a Proud Mommy!

March 24- 34/365

Look and Find Book (Disney Princess)
I quickly grabbed my camera and took a picture.  MF of course and I am struggling with my camera settings, it's hard to get them just right. I am trying real hard not to go back to Auto Focus.
Mikey sat on the bench forever looking through the Look and Find book.

March 23- 33/365

Balloon Boy
I was playing with my camera. I wanted to see if I could get a picture of Mikey through the balloon. It didn't happen like I wanted it to, but Mikey and I had fun!

March 22- 32/365

Headed to work!
This is the face I get to see every morning before he heads off to work. He even smiled for me! Yes, that's a smile:)

March 21- 31/365

A Crawfish boil in the snow!

Our neighbors had a crawfish boil and it was an excellent time to take out my camera! AND IT WAS SNOWING!  The kids loved playing outside with the live crawfish. I of course did not eat the crawfish, but I did eat the fixin's that go with it. It was very yummy!
Crawfish + Snow + Great Friends = an Awesome Time!

Saturday

March 20- 30/365

Lake Marion Bonner
After lunch we went to try out one of Matt's fishing spots. Though we didn't bring any fish home, the kids had a blast!

March 19- 29/365

Red Strawberries
Strawberries, one of our favorite snacks. I intended to take a picture of the strawberry bread that I made with these juicy strawberries, but the bread was not so tasty. It was not picture worthy either.
Oh well!

March 18- 28/365

Who Needs Toys!
The kids played with this box forever!

March 17- 27/365

Manual Focus
I have passed by this tree so many times, and wanted to stop and take some pictures. I just have not had the time, I am always on my way to something. I finally got the chance to stop and take some pictures before it all turns green. Matt even mentioned taking a picture of this tree. I think it's called a Dogwood tree.
Matt also mentioned, "When those trees look like that, it means that it's fishing time!" (Just thought I throw that in for y'all. I know you will get a kick out of it.) Matt thought it was funny. And yes he did say that!
I have stop using my auto focus on my camera and now have moved to manual focus. So just hang with me through my pictures. I am trying to figure out my camera a little more. If you look closely I changed up the pictures some using different settings.
If you look closely the last two pictures are alike, I just used different settings. And in the third picture if you look closer you can see a bee. It landed while I was taking the pictures. I couldn't zoom in enough to get a closer picture of the bee. I really should've had my other lens. NEXT TIME!

Do you have any quarters?
While in Houston the light in the truck went on, check tire air pressure. Matt drove to the gas station before heading on the road. Safety First!
Well... Matt fills the truck up with gas. Then pulls up to the air pump to pump air into the tire. The pump requires money, go figure! Matt asked me if I had any quarters and I said, no I gave them to Megan during the week for "snack money." He did not hear me, and thinks I ignored him. Then he asked Megan for money, I was thinking, REALLY? She nodded her head no and once again he thought he was being ignored. Nobody likes to be ignored, me included, Matt got upset. And when he is upset, I just let him be. Matt got in the truck and we drove on! Gotta love family road trips, they bring out the best in everyone. Nothing else was said about the tire.
Thank You Lord for our safe travels!
Today we all got in the truck to drive to a new place in town, Fatboys and Skinnys (burger joint). The light was still on, so Matt drove to the shopette and what do you know...FREE Air.
Matt smiled :)
So I had to take pictures and share our story.
By the way while in Houston we realized we had a screw in one of the tires. We have no idea how long it was there, but we did get it fixed. And that's a story you'll just have to ask about!
I love my husband!

Another Beautiful Day
Try getting 5 children, 5 and under, to all look at the camera at the same time. Not going to happen! Here they all are sitting on Mr. Wallace's boat.

March 14- 24/365

Grandfather and Tita with the Grandkids!
Mikey in Action!
Megan being herself!
We spent this weekend with my sister. She was able to go outside and as much as I want to take pictures of her, I know that she doesn't want any taken. It was a beautiful day to be outside.

March 13- 23/365

Silly Kids!
The only way I could get all three to look at the camera was to tell them to stick their tounges out!

March 12- 22/365

Pearl
This is my sister's cat. I am not a cat person, but there is a special place in my heart for Pearl. She is a sweet cat. She was not fond of me when I took her picture, I woke her up from a nap.

March 11- 21/365

Small Brunch Group
Here are some of my friends, we get together once a month for brunch. Most of the time we have a bigger group. It was really nice to have a small group this month. But we still missed those who couldn't make it!

March 10- 20/365

Oops!
I missed today. I have no charger for my battery so I am trying to conserve what I have left. Wednesdays are pretty busy for us anyways. Hopefully I can keep up next week!

March 09- 19/365

Hair cut time!
Mikey woke up in the morning and told me, "Mommy I weeally need a haircut!" So I took a picture before the haircut and forgot to take one after the haircut.

March 08- 18/365

"Eight Addition Family"
Megan and Michael are now allowed to write on the fridge. Megan is practicing her eight addition family. Oh and by the way she does not write in print at school, so her print hand writing skills are not as neat as her cursive.

Sunday

March 07- 17/365

Nice Shoes!
BOY-Michael fell numerous times walking in Matt's shoes. He thought it was hilarious. Can you see his scuff marks on his pants?
GIRL-Megan likes to wear my shoes to feel taller. Can you see she has her feet up closer to the heel?

March 06- 16/365

Being Silly!
I let Megan use my camera and she took pictures of Mikey and me. Mikey thought it was funny to close his eyes. He did this in all the pictures. Megan thought it was fun trying to get a picture of him with his eyes open, it didn't happen.

March 05- 15/365

Transformers...
more than meets the eye!

March 04- 14/365

Time for Bed
Matt grabbed the camera and Megan grabbed Ranger!

The Truth Project
Wednesday nights we all meet to watch The Truth Project at church
while the kids are at AWANAs. We have about three more weeks left, and I think I just might take the class again. Tons of information, but very interesting and insightful.

March 02- 12/365

I took a picture of a stack of books that lay on the desk. I am currently taking a Beth Moore Bible study at my church and I absolutely love it! I am also in a bible study group with women who want to be "insiders", me included!
