Easter Hunt #3 & #4

Grammy and Michael waiting in line. Grammy keeping him very close:)

Grammy and Megan went and get her face painted:)

Daddy and Michael did the egg hunt together. They almost got a golden egg! I could see it from where I was standing, but I didn't direct them very well!

Do you see Megan? Adults couldn't help this age group she was on her own! And she found an egg with writing on it! She won an Easter Basket:)

Egg Hunt at Grandpa's and Grammy's:)
She's fast!

They look so competitive!

Checkin' out the eggs.

Easter Program @ School

My favorite snap shot! She was hiding from me the whole time, I got her!

Special Day: Easter Memory Verse

Working together drawing a picture of the garden where Mary Magdalene saw Jesus. It was Michael's task for the week and big sister wanted to help. The verse for the week:
He is not here; He has risen, just as He said...
Matthew 28:6

Michael does really well learning his verses for each week.
Megan is a very good big sister:)  I am proud of both my children.
Thank you Lord for ALL my blessings!

Easter Egg Hunt #2

Getting ready for the Hunt!

Looking for a number in the eggs instead of candy.  If they got a number they had to turn it in and they would get a prize.

But we got nothing but candy! And they were okay with that:)

Astros

All dressed up and ready for the game!

Her first year playing ball:)

Checking out 2nd base!

Game Over!!!
I didn't take many pictures during the game because I didn't know T-ball was a competitive sport. I thought it was all about learing the basics! Well, not where we live!!! I was really into the game and didn't even know it until the game was over. More t-ball pics to come:)

Warrior Dash with my Fort Polk Friends

Kristen, Amy, me, Laurie, and Jerah survived the Warrior Dash, that was canceled due to tornado warnings in the area. We all stayed together throughout the race. It was extremely muddy which made it very hard to run. We all slipped at least once into the mud. Laurie even saw a snake at one point as we ran passed. I had no clue she said, "snake."All I heard was, 'Oh look a..." She said it real calm, so I wasn't worried at all. Until we got in the truck to go home and she talked about the snake she saw....
Then I said. "WHAT!!! U SAW A SNAKE!!!"
GOOD TIMES!!!

Here is a picture of everyone we ran with that day.  The three men in the picture were going to run even if the race was canceled and we asked, "what if the route is flooded?"  Their response was, "we'll turn around."
So we thought and thought about it.
We did drive 2 or 3 hours ( I can't remember how long we drove, it might have been longer) either way we had a fun drive. Lots of girl time! We didn't drive all that way to NOT do the dash! We were soooo Bummed it was canceled. So we were torn between missing out and still having a great time, not knowing what all the dash contained and if we were able to complete it! So Laurie and Kristen played , "ROCK, PAPER, SCISSORS" If Laurie won we weren't doing the dash. Well, you already know what happened!
We completed 13 crazy obstacles.
